Why Cambridge needs a real bagel
We grew up on the bagels that built their neighbourhoods — the counters in New York where the queue is half the fun, the bright, cheeky delis in DC, the sun-soaked spots in Florida where brunch runs all day. Then we moved to Cambridge and went looking for the same thing.
We couldn't find it. Plenty of good food in this city — but a proper, hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagel? Not really. So we decided to build it ourselves.
Cambridge Bagels is in the oven. Before we open the doors, we're getting it right — recipes, roasters, the perfect everything-seasoning ratio — and we want the people who'll actually eat here to shape it. That's you.
